This is one of the cutest toys I saw after my third daughter was born. I was looking for "new" baby toys that I hadn't had with the other two girls. I wanted to get her something really cute and different since we already had so much of the basic stuff left from the older two girls. I thought this was absolutely adorable, it made cute noises, and it was very educational.
There is a switch on the piggy bank for two different modes of play, Learning and Music. There are 10 different colored plastic coins, and they all have a mother animal on one side and a baby animal on the other. In the learning mode, every coin dropped in is counted by the piggy and when the child gets all 10 in, it plays a song. In the music mode, every time a coin is dropped in, the piggy will play a little tune. It will also play music if you press the piggy's snout.
My daughter has had lots of fun with this. I bought it for her when she was about 6 months old and she still plays with it now at age 2. Now that she is all grown up, she puts the pretend coins in her purse and carries them around too! This is a really cute toy that has a lot of educational and entertainment value. It is very durable and well worth the money.
