This toy, in theory, is super-cute and fun. I loved the Little People playsets I had as a child, and I was excited to share this fun with my child when she received it from a well-meaning relative when she was a year old. It's not the relative's fault, because the box boasts an age range of 1-4, but a one-year-old is just too little, even for the Little People. That, however, is the only complaint I can come up with, so if you child is at the age where pretend play and imagination is a skill they have, I say this toy is an excellent choice. The dinosaurs all have a "home" in this playset, and you can push the footprints to hear what they sound like. The new-age Little people are so much cuter and more detailed than they used to be, with puffy, soft hair and real faces. This particular set comes with a caveman, which is just hilarious. I was never blessed enough to have a toy caveman, but my daughter surely will be. This is a great toy to teach cause and effect, tactile awareness, and imitative play, but I caution you once more to wait until the child is older to play. I truly look forward to the fun we will have in Dinoland!
