We bought this bouncy seat for our son when he was five weeks old. We liked that it was bright and colorful and that the pretty jungle theme could work for either gender. Helpful if we ever have a little sister for him because who really wants to buy all the expensive baby gear again for their second child? Fisher Price is a brand we trust and we wanted something quality that will last for Grayson or any other children we may have after.
Theme: The theme is called "Precious Planet" and is part of a Fisher Price theme set that features prints of animals from all over the world. We liked the soft yet bright colors and animals are something little boys and girls both enjoy seeing.
Interactive features: The bouncer features two rattling toys the child can grab and shake as well as a banana that the child can pull to make music. These are the only interactive features. I felt that if they had added something the baby could push and something lit up it would have been a better interactive experience.
Portability: The toy arch comes off for travel and the vibrating battery pack does fold up into the seat but the seat itself does not fold up so it is not the most travel worthy bouncy seat. We move it around from room to room in our house and it works well for that.
Educational features: The shaking toys and pull bananas are good for motor development. Our son does not yet play with the toys but he does like to stare at them.
Safety: The seat has an adjustable belt for safety so the child can be secured inside.
Overall I would say this is a good basic bouncy seat for your baby. It's colorful, fun and inexpensive.
