We decided to go buy a mobile when my daughter outgrew her bassinet, since her bassinet had a small mobile on it that she adored. We looked at all the different ones, and decided on the Rainforest Fish-Price Rainforest Peek-A-Boo Musical Mobile, and I have to say, I am so glad we did! She absolutely loves watching this mobile! It helps her go to sleep at night, it keeps her entertained while I'm putting away laundry, she just loves it.

I love it too! It has four different buttons so you can choose whether Baby listens to Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, or just natural rainforest sounds such as crickets and rain. It's very soothing (I even like listening to it through the baby monitor!) It has a light on it with a picture that our daughter will stare at in the dark. The top is the best part, though- It has four critters hanging down, a parrot, a monkey, and a frog going in a circle, and a dragonfly in the middle. Around these are three leaves with a shiny material on the underneath that actually wave up and down as the critters go round and round! It is lovely to watch, and my daughter laughs and laughs that the critters.

The mobile itself is very versatile in a couple of ways. First, you can set it to play music with motion, music with light and motion, or just music with light. There are two volume levels as well. It can also convert to a crib nightlight/music box once baby is old enough to reach the mobile itself, so it has better longevity than some mobiles. One of the best features- a remote! If it stops playing and baby is not yet asleep, you just crack the door a bit, point the remote at the sensor and it plays all over again! That has to be one of my favorite features. The remote even has a handle so you can hang it on the doorknob.

It's a bit more costly than some other mobiles I've seen (and owned) but for all that you get, it is highly worth it!
