Nick Drake was incredibly talented, and It's a shame so few have heart of him. I admit, I only heard of him myself when I read his name in an article about Heath Ledgers death, where the writer mentioned that his favorite artist was Nick Drake. I downloaded a song or two, and now I can't imagine not knowing him. His musics an aquired taste, and is more of a "listen at home" type of sound, very personal which isn't something you find often in music. The ablum has 10 tracks, all classics. His album sales peaked in 2005, despite dying in 1974. His music obviously didn't gain popularity until many years after his suicide, which is ironic considering the track "Fruit Tree" from Five Leaves Left, which was about fame and states

"So men of fame

Can never find a way

Till time has flown

Far from their dying day.

Forgotten while you're here

Remembered for a while

A much updated ruin

From a much outdated style."

If Nick Drake could come back from the dead, I think he'd say "I told you so." All in all, worth a quick download or youtube search, and a personal favorite of mine.
