Cloudy with a Chance of Meat Balls is an awesome 3D animation movie of this year. This movie produces by Columbia Pictures and Sony Animation. The story tells about a young kid named Flint Lockwood, who lives in a city called Swallow Falls. His ambition is to become a great inventor. Too bad, every invention that he makes is end up with a mess. Kids in his neighborhood call him a freak. He spent his daily life inside a big water tank beside his house as his base. Inside his base, he invented many things. His true friend is a little monkey Steve. Steve can "talk" using one of his invention called a "translate tool". Swallow Falls it self is a city that produce sardines as the only main food. Swallow Falls also known as Sardine City.
Flint wants to change the future of his town. He wants all people eat new food instead of sardines. So he decides to create a new food machine, a machine that can produce food from water as the main source. Flint hopes that with his new machine, he can help change the life of people in his town even tough his father wants Flint help him working at "Bait and Tickle" shop. One day, by accidentally, he launches his food machine to the sky, and the machine starting to produce food that keep falling into the town. From that moment, Flint becomes famous. People in his town like Flint. This attract people from other countries to come and see Chewandswallow, the new Swallow Falls, the only town that have a food "rain". Flint also met a female reporter named Sam Sparks which is become his girlfriend. Later, things get messy. People begin to order kinds of food. They want to have it from the sky. As a result, the machine becomes out of control. Something terrible happens along with the machine overloads. Foods in giant shape begin to fall from the sky, destroy the entire town. Flint has to stop this or the destruction will spread into other countries. I like this movie very much. It has a perfect 3D animation. The story line is very good. This movie also tells about love and comedy. This is one of my best collections.
