Fobus 360 G2 Holster for Glock with Tactical Equipment under barrel.
I needed a new holster for my Glock semi-automatic when I added a laser sight (see my review Laser Sight – Fits most Glocks). Most other holsters do not offer enough room for any such tactical accessories. I also wanted a holster that would tilt forward in case I wanted to wear it to the rear of my right hip.
The Fobus 360 G2 Holster turned out to be just what I was looking for. The holster is open at the back to allow for any tactical equipment mounted under the barrel on the rail or for trigger guard mounted lasers.
The gun is inserted into the holster somewhat differently than the typical holster. You put the end of the gun in at an angle as shown in the photo, rotate in until it snaps into place. There is a tapered pin (muzzle stud) in the bottom of the holster that serves as a pivot point. This muzzle stud also helps hold the gun securely in place. To draw the gun, simply unsnap it and rock it out to the back – the reverse of the install.
Another unique feature of this holster is that it can rotate on the mount 360 degrees (thus the 360 in the model in the name). Simply loosen the screw on the back of the holster (see photo), adjust to your preference and retighten the screw. You can use it for cross-draw, to the back or any standard arrangement.
To put the holster on, simply slide the back piece down behind your belt and it snaps right into place. Rock your Glock into place, snap it and your ready to go.
This is the best holster I have found that accommodates tactical gear on a Glock. I really like this one. I bought mine on Ebay for about $32, but it is also available at Fun Deals 4 You, The Tactical Store, LA Police Gear and many other places on the Internet.
