Today, I will be reviewing a shave gel, nothing unusual about that, apart from the price. This stuff costs just One Pound Sterling. I think this is cheap, and also worth the money.
The getl comes in a clear tube, with a top which unscrews, exposing a nozzle, from which the gel can be squirted onto your hand. The contents of the tube are 175 nml, which is a good practical size. The colour of the gel is a light blue, not that it matters what colour it is. The cap is flat, so it can be stood up in your cupboard.
This one is supposed to be the Ulttra Sensitive Formula, but I have not seen another type from this company. The shop selling this is just a local High Street shop, selling bargain price stuff.
To use, simply squirt a small quantity onto the fingertips, and apply to a wet face, preferably after washing so the beard is softened. Rub in well, and shave with smooth strokes. Rinse razor well between strokes. Aftger shaving, rinse face and dry.
The skin feels soft and smooth after use. There is no discernable smell, which is good. The Company do have a website, but there is no mention of this product.
Ingredients:- Aqua (water) Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Glyceril Polmethacrylate, Carbomer, Parfum, (as in Perfume but I can't smell it) Allantoin, Disodium EDTA (not a clue) PEG-60 (?) Hydrogenated Castor oil, Phenoxymethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, and of course CI 42090 (Well, you wouldn't want to leave that out would you?)
I must say I bought this as a cheap option as I had ran out, but it is looking like I will be using it again. I am sure the gel leaves my skin softer than a lot of more expensive gels. I am not interested in designer names, so if something does the job, then I like it. I have no rash or itrritation with this gel, so I do recommend you shave your face (or wherever!!!) with this.
