I have one of these from a few years ago, when they carried them at Target. They're discontinued, but I saw them on Amazon.
If you've never heard of these, they're a cleaning tool to use between vacuuming. They have a sticky pad on the inside and when you run it over the carpet, it picks up bigger stuff.
The first thing to remember when using the Carpet Flick, is it is not a vacuum. It doesn't work like a vacuum and shouldn't be expected to pick things up as well. This is more like, "Oh, I spilled some crumbs on the floor! Here, let me use my Carpet Flick!"
My main problem with the Carpet Flick is, it picks up enough dog hair so that it's not sticky anymore, but not enough to make my carpet look any better. So, I go through the refills pretty fast when I use this.
I really like mine, and I use it all the time when I'm too lazy to vacuum. I think for a quick pick up, this is perfect. A few swipes across the carpet, and poof! You're good. I think for clutzes and anyone who doesn't feel like vacuuming all the time, this is a life saver. :)
