I have sensitive skin, and while my complexion is good, it isn't flawless. I don't like the feel of most foundations, and many of them cause my skin to develop a rash or to break out. Origins Reflection Perfection is a lightweight "mattifying make-up" that meets my needs.
Reflection Perfection comes in six shades (Angel, Eggshell, Linen, Nude, Bare, and Honey), but none of them look dark enough to me for women of color. I have very pale skin, and Angel is my choice. Reflection Perfection contains natural oil absorbers, like oat flour, clove extract, and manuka. They absorb excess oil, but don't dry out my skin. Origins describes the product as having "satiny-soft focus diffusers" to "reduce redness;" I'm not sure what they are, but they work for me when I'm having a lupus flare. With this product, no red rash shows through, and my skin has a flawless matte finish.
Although the price of $17.50 is higher than drugstore brands, I think it's worth it for a natural and cruelty-free product that feels lightweight and covers up flaws with no need for an extra concealer. The price, along with the tendency to light shades, brought down an otherwise 5 to a 4.5 rating from me.
