This is a fantastic book for your family library. A hardcover volume with the original 1897 Dracula by Bram Stoker and the 1912 classic Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. This edition has illustrations which make it much fun for kids. It's a great volume to use to share these classic tales with your kids. Great fun for Halloween time or any time for that matter. It was a great buy for the money. I'll probably reread these classics every several years for the rest of my life.

Two of the icons of haunted houses and Halloween lore have their roots in these classic horror novels. Dracula is actually a wonderful love story that just so happens to star a monstrously powerful immortal, heartbroken vampire. Frankenstein is the story of a boy who devotes his life to natural history and science, becomes obsessed with a project and ultimately destroys his own family - a very sad tale.

Again, these are great tales for the family. We've enjoyed the combination volume a great deal.
