Every year I take a flight to the state I grew up in, to visit to my family members still living there. Although I could take a non-stop flight on Northwest Airlines, I continually find myself booking with Frontier Airlines because of the friendly flight crew and their on-time service. They're also one of the few airlines that will give out a tasty snack, and not just some old dried pretzels.
The flight attendants are accommodating and genuinely friendly. One one paricular flight I met an attendant that had been on the "Ellen" show and shared her adventure with me. I also ran into her again this year while on my return flight back home. So it seems to me that Frontier flight attendants can be familiar faces if you fly with them enough.
Another plus is that Frontier usually has the best prices to and from the places I need to fly to. Of course this may not always be the case depending on where you live.
When I flew on Frontier this year to go back home, my flight was considerably late leaving the gate. This made me late for my connection, but I raced through the airport and was able to make the connecting flight at the last minute. Somehow my seat assignment also got changed. But the flight attendant serving in my part of the cabin knew my situation, and offered me free in-flight entertainment which consisted of Direct TV or a movie. Free, while everyone else had to pay! Just for my trouble!
It's so nice to experience really good customer service these days, and Frontier should give lessons to other airlines!
