I have been hesitant to try any products marketed as 3-in-1s (shampoo, shower gel, bubble bath) as I don't like using detergent-based washes and prefer natural, cold-process soap full of rich butters. My hair is my vanity; I henna it deep red and keep it long, so I'm also a bit nervous pouring detergent-based bubbles on my tresses!
After being a bit underwhelmed with Philosophy's brand of 3-in1s (they smell great but are expensive and don't bubble up at all in my bath), I decided to brave Bath & Body Works for the first time in years.
Frosting Forever has adorable, durable and practical packaging, just like all of the others in its line. It looks great in my bathroom and is easy to handle in the bath.
Just like the scents from B&BW's Temptations, it also foams up marvelously and adds so many bubbles to my bathtub...long-lasting, silky bubbles!
As far as scent, the smell is not straight up traditional bath product frosting scent. I cannot place it, but it has a very vanilla buttercream to it--almost alcoholic. It's definitely not what you might expect. It's also very sugary-smelling, which I love when I'm in the mood. I'm not sure how much I love the scent yet. It's very, very sweet. The texture of this product is creamy and pearlized, and more softening to the skin than I'd imagined.
I may or may not buy it again--there are so many vanillas to try in the bath and body world; this may last awhile. If you can find it on sale, which you often can, a 16 oz. bottle will only set you back $6. The scent lingers on the skin, and morphs into a softer and more pleasant vanilla scent.
