SAY CHEESE! This is my first really nice digital camera that my husband and I had purchased. We purchased this camera back in November of 2005 right before we went on our 2nd Disney Cruise.

This camera is great for people like us, we are not professional but the pictures from this camera makes us feel like we are. It is very easy to use and it has alot of features some of which I am not sure we have ever used before.

When we bought this camera we purchased it from QVC and paid around $350 now you can get this camera for around $100. It came with a 16mb xd card which we ended up purchasing an additional 1gb xd so that we could hold more pictures. It pretty much came with what you needed to get started plus a/v cables in order to use with your tv, and the cradle adapter for future use with the charger. Which we never did purchase.

I do have to say that the battery life on this camera is not that great. We have purchased the expensive batteries and they still don't last as long. However, we have figured out that most of that is due to the screen. Anytime you use it it takes alot of the battery juice.

Recently we have become members at Expo tv and we have used this camera to do our videos that we download. We have managed to get some good use out of this and we have made our money back that we spent on the camera. We do keep extra batteries charged up and ready to go at all times.

It has several settings for differant picture types, It has a convenient side panel for the usb port that is covered to help protect that. (and you get an extra cover in case you lose the one!). The instructionss booklet is great because it gives you some really good pointers on the best way to take pictures.

All in all this is a great camera and I would recommend this to anyone. Even to beginners who are serious about a great camera. I hope that I have helped with this review it is really hard to write about something that has so many features and a great camera.
