I received this as a gift from my mother. She knew that I loved it from when we were last the CCO/Cosmetic Company Store. I applied the shimmery dark blue on my eyelids that day and remarked at how beautiful the packaging was. The palette comes in packaging that looks like a planner. It has a metallic silver exterior. It completely zips up with a silver and black zipper with the brand name engraved on it. It is slim, compact and super chic. It has some weight to it, but that's to be expected since there's a lot of stuff included in this!

There is a generously sized mirror, 6 eyeshadows and 2 blushes. There is also a double sided brush, one side for eye color (More rounded) and one for contouring (Slanted). It is labeled as such.

Although I recently bought a Bobbi Brown blush for myself, I tend to use the pinky-peach powder blush in here on my cheeks when I use this palette. It's a flattering color on me and since the palette is already out, I don't have to go and use a separate cheek product. It's all in here! There is a tan, nude blush that is under the pink, I use that to contour my cheekbones. I noticed that this is the warm palette. I didn't realize that when I fell in love with this set at the store. I usually pick cooler colors, but I find these colors to be very neutral rather than warm. The eyeshadow colors in here are: navy, forest green, vanilla, sand, medium pink champagne and a mauve purple-tinged brown. The shadows are beautiful. They all are shimmery, but not DISCO BALL shimmery. Some shades are more shimmery than others, like the dark blue (Silvery reflective bits), dark green (Gold flecks throughout) and the rosy champagne (The shimmer is the same color of the shadow). The shadows wear really well. They are long lasting and I haven't experienced any creasing which is a real boon! The brush included is also great quality. It is very soft. The blushes don't fade quickly. The palette as a whole is a real winner. My mom paid $36.50. The suggested retail is $52.00 and the value is marked $141.00 (Wow!).
