Futurebiotics Hair, Skin & Nails was recommended to me by the salesperson at GNC, as a beauty multi vitamin that was similar to GNC's own HSN product. I have been using GNC's HSN but had run out and unfortunately they were out of stock. So, I decided to give Futurebiotics Hair, Skin & Nails a try.
The bottle the pills came in were dark amber and had a screw off top with no 'safety' or 'childproof' lid on it. 75 pills came in the bottle.
The pros of this beauty multi vitamin are that it has 35 medicinal ingredients, including vitamin and minerals, in it that help to maintain healthy hair, skin and nails. Some of the medicinal ingredients included are Calcium, Magnesium, Choline, Oatstraw extract, Horsetail (7% silica), PABA, Vitamin E, Biotin, Vitamin B12, and the list goes on. All of these ingredients have been proven to be beneficial for healthy skin, as well as hair and nail growth. These ingredients combined into a pill form has made it easy for me to consume the vitamins that have helped me to transition to natural, while growing out my relaxer. My has grown in thicker and faster. Also my nails are stronger, less brittle and have a natural while colur to the tips without using French Tips colured nail polish.
The cons of this beauty multi vitamin is the size of the pill, the colour of it and the taste. The pill is about 10mm long and very thick that makes it hard to swallow. I almost choked on it once!. The colour is also a little off-putting. It is green speckled on dark spots all over. And can't forget the taste - gross! Don't let this melt in your mouth, try to swallow it all the way down or it will leave a very unpleasant taste in your mouth! I haven't seen any benefit or changes to my skin and I've taken these for 3 months now.
This is a product comparable to GNC's brand of hair skin & nails, cheaper and gives you shinier, thicker, healthy looking hair. Try it for yourself and see.
