This GARFIELD and Friends An Ode was another one of my grand daugther's favorite DVD's. She used to watch it all of the time, over and over. She was about 2 and a half years old when she added it to her collection. This DVD came with a Odie mini plush toy. It was just adorable and she still has it. It is 120 minutes long. It is a rather long DVD running the 120 minutes. She used to tire of watching it. I love this DVD for myself.

In this DVD Garfield, America's favorite fat cat and his loyal pal, Odie team up. There are 13 episodes from the "Garfield and Friends" television series. These episodes were hand picked by the creator himself Jim Davis to pay tribute to Garfield's friend Odie.

Garfield is just a fat lazy cat that loves to eat lasagna and wants nothing more out of life than to just eat and sleep. He hates going to the vet. Garfield loves to torment Odie. Garfield loves Jon and Odie, but he is also jealous of Odie. He doesn't want to share Jon with anybody else.

Odie is a beagle that is usually kicked off a table or chair by Garfield. Odie does not talk, he uses body language and barking to communicate.

Jon Arbuckle is Garfield's owner and is a bachelor. He does not have very good luck with women. Jon has a crush on Dr. Liz, the vet. The way that Jon punishes Garfield is to take him to the vet. Jon will force Garfield to hunt and catch mice, but Garfield has a liking of the house mice and does not kill them.

The 13 episodes on the DVD are The Fairy Dogmother, Fairy Dogmother 2, Canine Conspiracy, Odie the Amazing, Truckin' Odie, Airborne Odie, Odielocks and the 3 Cats, Moo Cow Mutt, Robodie, Robodie II, Arriverdci, Odie!, All About Odie, Ode to Odie.

I even enjoy watching this Garfield DVD myself. My grand daughter spent many hours watching this DVD and loved it. She watches it from time to time. I highly recommend watching this DVD if you are a Garfield and Odie fan.
