I bought this GPS unit mostly to geocache, which is a fun hobby which is basically a world wide easter egg hunt using a GPS. I have used it from time to time to get me around major cities where I have a bad habit of getting lost, and it has worked perfectly. Since it is a handheld unit, it is great to haul around anywhere. It is great for roadtrips, especially when the roadtrips feature geocaching. When I took a two day road trip, I made it more exciting by using the Geocaching site to upload coordinates of caches along my route, which the GPS unit then stores on its microSD card. It is very accurate for a handheld, getting me within 10 feet of most caches. It seems very durable, as it has been dropped without any breaks. Its map is nice, but it isn't as detailed in cities as I would have liked. You need to pay a good amount of money to get that kind of detail.

In any case, this GPS unit is the bee's knees if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive GPS unit that can serve a wide range of functions, from car navigation to hiking to geocaching. I highly recommend it.
