I received a .68 fl. oz/ 2 mL sample of Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Pro Deep Wrinkle Cream SPF 20. I was able to use all of the amount given in the sample for my face, neck, chest, hands and arms. In other words, it was good for one use.
The texture of the cream was a light, easily absorbed cream. It left my skin feeling very soft.
The cream is fragranced, unfortunately. I prefer my face products to be unscented. This one has a light smell which reminds me of men's cologne. I find that when you are applying it, you definitely notice it. After it dries, the smell dissipates.
It protects against both UVA/UVB rays via avobenzone, octisalate and octocrylene. I am unsure if the Ultra-Lift is water-resistant. The Garnier's website does not say it is or it is not; also, the sample does not state its status either way.
My sample says Ultra-Lift is non-comedogenic on the packaging. Non-comedogenic means does not cause pore clogging. I choose products that are non-comedogenic as to not exacerbate acne.
Ultra-Lift also may have firming and anti-aging properties beyond the sun protection it provides. These anti-aging benefits work after sustained use. As I only received a small sample, I am unable to comment on that, but I figured I would mention it. Firming and anti-wrinkling of the skin is achieved by an ingredient called Pro-Xylane from beech extract. The cream also contains Vitamin A and Omega 3 and 6.
I found it to be a nice SPF moisturizer. I would probably recommend it and might use it in the future. My ideal moisturizer would be unscented, though.
