The Gateway Clipper Fleet is a fleet of riverboats in downtown Pittsburgh Pennsylvania that take passengers on cruises along the three rivers that surround Pittsburgh. My family and I have taken a few of these cruises over the years. A favorite of the kids is the Lollipop Cruise. It is offered on the weekends and it is basically for family's with young children, and they have a clown and music for the kids, My kids liked that they got to talk to the clowns and got a balloon animal and a lollipop! My husband and I have been on the sightseeing cruises, which are nice and we like how they take you around the city and tell you the history and point out landmarks. We have also been on a Rock Cruise once. That was a lot of fun with a live band and a nice dance floor. At Christmas time they offer a holiday cruise that cruises to Wheeling WV to see the Oglebay Festival of Lights display. We haven't done that cruise yet but have heard it is a lot of fun, so I'm sure we will be trying it soon.
