I'm not a big exercise buff, but I do like to drink Gatorade when I'm not feeling well because it does help give me some energy and start to feel better. I was thrilled when I heard that Gatorade had come out with a new lower-calorie alternative to their original thirst quencher. However, I was disappointed in the Gatorade G2. I have tried the grape and fruit punch flavors (it also comes in orange, but I didn't try that one). The grape tasted merely like a watered down version of the original Gatorade grape flavor. And the fruit punch tasted like watered down cough syrup - nothing like the original Gatorade fruit punch flavor. I tried to get over the flavor (or lack there of) in exchange for the fewer calories, but my verdict is that the extra calories are worth it to be able to drink something that tastes good and helps me feel better!
