I've used several products from DHC (I'll probably submit reviews on more of their products, at some point), and this is one of my favorites. The lactic acid and 10% alpha hydroxy acid help make this a gentle, weekly exfoliant, suitable for all skin types. (I have rosacea, and this has never irritated my skin). I didn't give it the highest rating for moisturizing, because, well... it's an exfoliant. I use this at night, once a week, and I layer a moisturizer over it. (Be sure to give the AHA Cream a few minutes to sink into your skin before applying a separate moisturizer. It's normal for the AHA Cream to feel "tingly" when you first apply it). I also didn't give the highest overall rating, because it's an over-the-counter product, and results aren't dramatic. But if you are looking for an inexpensive, at-home way to stimulate cell turnover without irritation, this is a great product. DHC does not use artificial colors or fragrances in their products, which is important to me. As with any AHA product, be sure to apply sunscreen during the day.
