My hair has the tendency to get frizzy and curly, especially during humid conditions. And that can get especially annoying when you don't want your hair to be that way. So I researched on different flat irons and many them seemed to cost at least close to $100 and up, which way too pricey for me, even it is good quality.
However I needed a flat iron that can tame my poor little hair and also a bit on the inexpensive side. I chose Conair Ceramic Straightener. This ceramic iron has 25 different settings--to mildly warm to extreme heat and honestly I prefer a lot of heat to straighten my hair but thankfully I have a heat protectant spray to protect my hair from heat appliances.
The flat iron didn't take forever to heat up; in fact in less than a minute I was able to straighten my hair pretty well. It is quite light and in good size and great for those with thin to medium thick hair. It's also great to use to spike up your hair or slightly curl the end of your strands.
The only thing I had a problem is the exterior of the iron that it easily cracked after dropping it and didn't heat up since. But I had to buy another one and were careful with the iron the second time around. Despite this small dysfunction, this hair tool is still great. Even if I decided to switch to another one later on, I would still give thumbs up to anyone who love to try out this ceramic iron.
