Tabloid magazines are placed at the right spot (just before the checkout) for impulse buyers like myself. It was one such purchase of Life & Style that caught me. On the cover was Khloe Kardashian in a wedding dress and I thought, 'What?!'. That made me fork out $2.99 plus taxes for this magazine.
One good thign about this magazine is that there was 20 pages of advertisement before you got to the table of contents. The magazine is broken up in to five sections: Week in Photos, Celeb News, News on the Go, Fashion & Beauty and In Every Issue.
The Week in Photos section has snapshots of your favourite celebrities out and about or at some fancy event. Each photo as accompanied by a caption outling where the star is, what they're doing or who they are with.
The Celeb News section has current stories about more A-lister stars. In this issue Katherine Heigl's adoption of a baby girl made the cut as well as Khloe Kardashian's wedding to Lamar Odom.
The News on the Go section has a current story about a celebrity. In this issue John Travola's testimony in court was a big story as well as Kate Gosselin's new hairdo and a Sex in the City sequel spoiler about Samantha possible getting hitched.
The Fashion & Beauty section is pretty much self-explanatory. In Every Issue has games, freebies. horoscopes and reviews that appear in every issue of Life & Style weekly.
This magazine was an entertaining read and allowed me catch up on my celebrity gossip while my husband drove us to his parent's house for dinner. At $2.99 and issue, I'd recommend this magazine for those days when you just want to see what crazy stuff celebrities are up to in their lives, how they looked and 'who' they were wearing and not spend too much for this information!
