After our search for a Wii Console with Sport, we were very lucky to find the Wii Fit board. I had heard from several of my discussion group (men and women who have my chronic illness) after buying the Wii console that this fitness game was really good exercise for shut-ins like me. Also, I had read some really good reviews on this site about this product.

So after installing the Wii Console, my husband and I bought the Wii Fit at Best Buy. Once again it was really hard to find. This product is selling like hotcakes. So if you want one, you will really have too grab it when you find it.

It was really easy to set up. The board connects to the console wirelessly. The only thing you have to worry about is "not to jump on the board." If you manage to jump, it will shut down. At my weight it is probably not a good thing to jump on the poor thing.

Anyway, there are four types of exercises you can do--Yoga, strength, aerobics, and balance. It is like having your own personal trainer. The trainer tells you how to do each exercise properly and there is a yellow spot which shows you how well you are balancing on the board.

Warning: if you are really out of shape, you need to be careful on how much you exercise. Take it slowly. I am still stiff after doing Wii fit for a week.

I love it. I would buy this again. It gives me a chance to exercise without having to deal with germs from places like gyms. Gyms can be really hard on my immune system. So this is a good alternative exercise program for anyone who either doesn't have the time or cannot go to the gym.
