My husband and I love drinking coffee several times a day and we wanted a coffee pot that would not only be easy enough to use, but also work well and last a long time. So far we have been pleased with this coffee pot, but it does have it's pro's and con's.
Some of the things we like is the look of the coffee maker. We like the black and stainless steel. It looks very classy. We also like that you can purchase filters very inexpensively from places like Walmart without having to buy the more expensive ones from Gevalia. This coffee pot is very easy to use. Even without directions, we probably could have figured it out. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basic start, stop & a timer, but for us, that's all we wanted.
Some of the things we aren't crazy about are the fingerprints that tend to show up on the coffeepot because of the stainless steel. Also, after brewing a pot of coffee, there is a lot of condensation under the lid and when you lift that up, water tends to drip out behind it and make a mess. One other thing is that the water reservoir where you pour the water is fairly small, so you have to be sure to pour slowly or you'll make a mess.
