My husband got this cute toy which has a blue bird in her right hand and a big plastic bell in her left hand, for his youngest niece's second birthday.
Pros: Sarah Lyn stuffed toy is soft, comfy, cuddly and cute. There is no removable part in the toy so it is safe for newborn too. It is very well constructed so there is no fear that babies will pull any part of the toy apart. Babies are very easily attracted to the toy which will make a tweet tweet sound when her stomach is pressed which resembles a giggling sound. The little niece laughs when we pressed the doll's tummy for her the first time and she fell in love with it at the first sight of the toy.
Cons:There is not much educational value that can be derived from the toy except some hand coordination during the pressing of the tummy. In the early morning the jingling sound of that plastic bell in the left hand can be very annoying so it will be good if that bell can be either made detachable or replaced with something else that is not too noisy. After checking we found that the battery which runs the "voicebox" of Sarah cannot be replaced at all when it runs out, so soon Sarah will lost her voice!!
