Image for GIMP ME!!!

In the digital world, one can manipulate almost everything. Imagine a still photo with a very dull background or even having a camera that can only produce say 6 megapixels of image or even less. One does not need a high-end camera although that would be a great thing. All you need is an image enhancing software. Nowadays the most popular image editor is that of photoshop but liscense is very expensive. But if you try searching for freeware image enhancing software, then I would greatly suggest GIMP.

From my own experience, I'd say GIMP is better than photoshop because not only is it a freeware, meaning you do not pay for it, but it has the capabilities photoshop offers and mind you it can even adapt some of the photoshop plug-ins. One other thing, GIMP is not limited to only one operating system as GIMP is not only available for Windows OS users but also those who prefer Linux and Mac users as well. Isn't that great?

Most of the people I know does not limit themselves on learning only one operating system, we have ventured on using Ubuntu or any other linux flavor since linux is less likely to crash. So if you are a professional seeking to enhance the pictures your have taken then try GIMP, if you know photoshop then it will be easier for you to use GIMP.

This software is the best thing I discovered on the internet and many of the would-be digital artist such as myself, hobbyist and enthusiast are already hooked with this software.

I praise the developers of this software. I love the interface, the look, everything.

Currently GIMP Development Team has released GIMP 2.7 but this one is still unstable.

If you would like to check out the software, you may download it through http://gimp.org

They also have a manual on how to go about creating the best image you can think of, you can check it here:

The manual is available in different languages, great!!

Oh I love GIMP very much...
