When I am cooking I notice sometimes the house can hold the odor especially if its on a day when opening windows is not possible. Occasionally I like to burn candles to help in these cases. Candles can lend ambience and a nice fragrance to any room. One brand of candles I like to use are Glade Candles. These candles advertise themselves as doing this plus they have a few candles such as the Clean Linen, Fresh Mountain Morning and Suddenly Spring line of candles that actually are suppose to kill odors such as smoke, pet odors, food odors and bathroom odors. These candles come in a wide variety of scents such as Ocean Blue, Water Lily Rain, French Vanilla, Apple Cinnamon and many more.
I have tried a few different scents and really enjoy Glade's variety of scents. I also like that they come in their own glass holder.
I don't have smoke in my house so I do not know if their special candles handle smoke or not but they can cover light pet odors and light cooking odors. They do not handle heavy cooking odors well. Glade Candles are rather small candles but they last me awhile which is good because they cost almost four dollars a candle at some stores.
There are warnings on the candle package. Read and follow all warnings for safety and maximum performance.
