I love fresh scents and one of my favorites is "Clean Linen" by Glade. When I want to quickly refresh carpets and the house in general, I simply sprinkle some of this Glade Odor Eliminator powder on the carpets and let it sit for about 10 minutes then vacuum. The powder removes odors quickly and when I vacuun, the scent remains for 4-5 hours afterward, provided I don't cook anything with an overpowering scent, such as fish, deep fried foods, etc.

The container is recyclable plastic and comes with a lid that has three different sized holes all around it. By lifting off the top, peeling off the seal, then replacing the top, I have a "shaker" type container that holds 907g of odor eliminating powder.

I use this powder at least once a week more because I love the smell than anything, and you don't need a lot. Just a light dusting all over and the house smells just like fresh linen! I've been buying this product for a few years now. It's actually replaced the Arm and Hammer Powder that I had always used previously.

I haven't noticed any change in the color of carpets and no one in the house is sensitive to it, but it is recommended that pets and children remain off carpets that have been treated until they are vacuumed. The "powder" is actually fine granules, not talcum like and doesn't pose a problem with dust forming from what I've experienced but it is a product that contains scents which may affect those more sensitive to such things. You should also not apply to wet or damp carpets.

Overall, a great quick way to get odors lifted from carpets and have the house smelling fresh and clean - especially if you have company coming over and haven't had a chance to do as deep down a cleaning job as you normally would.

Good product, great price. I like it.
