My son-in-law is a Chemical Engineer. He works both inside a plant and outside. To be outside is fine in the summer but now that the cold and snow are here his hands get really cold while he works. I know there are work gloves but they were not insulated enough to keep his hands warm. So when I was at Walmart I decided to look for something warmer. I had a hard time finding the area where they were displayed. I would have thought that they would be in the glove section. I found them next to the thermal long johns. I guess that makes sense.......but it was not where I would put them!

These are Wells Lamont Work 1500 gloves. They are very heavy duty gloves and he really liked them. I wanted to get them in a size Xlarge but they only had Large sizes in stock that day. It was a good thing because they fit him perfectly and other size would have been way too big! These are made of split cowhide leather. They would be great for anyone that works in construction, with lumber, farming, fencing, ranching or just general cold weather activities. These would be really great for snow shoveling too. They have a very nice warm pile lining. Most work gloves do not have such plush insides. The palm of the gloves are made of leather. This will make them last a lot longer than just the cowhide material. The finger tips and the thumb have a special grip on them for easier control while wearing the gloves. The cuff on the gloves are big and come up over the wrist. This is a good safety feature to protect the wearer. The knuckle area has a leather strap across it to protect your knuckles too.

My son-in-law was so impressed with these gloves that he stopped at Walmart to pick up a couple more pairs of them. Unfortunately they were out of stock. Guess everyone was buying these for the winter!
