As soon as a baby learns to walk they are ready for a ride on toy. We bought one for our grand daughter on her first birthday. We were surprised to see her get right on! She hasn't quite figured out how to make it "go", but she just sort of rocks on it, pushing a little bit forward and back with her little feet. She is just so proud of herself for getting on and then off that she finds her fun that way. On and off, on and off.
She likes to push it while she walks along, too. We still have to be careful of that move, though, so that it doesn't get going too fast for her because she doesn't know how to run yet.
The Lil' Princess Ride On is very cute. It is pink and purple with lots of real cute graphics of kids, making it very attractive to little ones.
I was surprised to find out that our little darling knew exactly what to do with the lift up seat compartment right from the start. She just loves to put her little things in there - binky, shoes, books, etc. - and then take them out. And repeat.
As she learns to make it go, this ride on will gain even more in value, but for now, even just sitting on it makes our grand daughter smile.
