My two year old daughter received the Go Diego Go! Animals Learning Floor Puzzle as a gift from my brother. She was very excited since she absolutely loves puzzles. My experience level is high since we do this puzzle together almost every day. This 2 ft x 3 ft puzzle has 48 pieces that are made out of sturdy cardboard and are very managable for a toddler. The box says ages 3+, but my two year old can do this puzzle just fine. There are pictures of thirteen animals that Diego rescues on the popular Nick Jr. TV show, Go Diego Go! This is great because my daughter recognizes the names of the animals and knows many of them even though they are not common animals to her (Coati, Caiman, llama, spectacled bear.) My favorite feature is that each puzzle piece features different shapes as the connectors. When we do this together we look for hearts, diamonds, rectangles, triangles, and many more shapes. This reinforces the shapes she knows and teaches her about more obscure shapes.
