Last Halloween, we were looking for some semi-formal(ish) style shoes, in either gold or light pink, that would go with my eldest daughter's fairy costume. We found these, at Target, inexpensively, and they seemed to fit her okay. My daughter has pretty wide feet, so these are a bit narrow, but we got them in the next size up to try and account for that.
For just the one night, they looked GREAT, the were perfect for her costume, and she didn't complain about them (of course, she was also getting candy in exchange for her walking about).
When I took them off though, I noticed that the back of her heels looked red, like the shoe had bee rubbing it raw in that spot, even though she was wearing tights. And, when we got home, she did let me know that she didn't find these shoes comfortable. My baby is big on comfortable.
They are pretty, and if your child has narrow feet, or is more interested in style, rather than comfort, these would probably work out great.
But, if your child has wide feet, like my little one, or they'll be wearing these without anything to protect their heel from the rubbing and digging in of the back of the shoe, I'd steer clear.
All in all, they aren't bad, and they're a good deal. Ocassionally, she still wears these, but with fairly thick socks, and after much stretching out, with help from mommy.
