I currently have a wash 'n wear hairstyle and rarely use a hair dryer. If I do, it is for a special occasion, usually away from home. So when my last hair dryer died, I didn't feel like putting out a lot of money for something I would use so infrequently. That's why I decided on this Durabrand travel dryer.

This hair dryer has all the standard features a good dryer should. It has two speeds, a cool shot button, and is dual voltage for travel. It folds in half to make packing it easier, and is the tiniest hair dryer I have ever seen! I hope the picture with the playing card gives you a good idea of its size.

Something I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a retractable cord. I know, picky, picky, but I find it annoying to store with a long cord getting tangled up with other things.

Overall, for what it is, it's a good hair dryer. It is definitely not as powerful as the ones twice its size, though, so don't put any unrealistic expectations on the little guy! It does a good job, but it takes longer to do it. If you have really thick hair, you will probably want something with more power and a larger nozzle.

If you are in the market for a really good hair dryer that is high quality and portable, I would have to recommend something better, such as my last dryer. However, if you are looking for something inexpensive and compact to take on the road, this could be the one for you. It is serving my purposes just fine.
