I bought this cute rectangular washcloth over a year ago in the color, Sand. It measures six inches wide by four and a quarter inches high. It is hand-knit and has a delightfully soft, nubby texture. The yarn it is made from is dye-free and is 100% organic.
It isn't super absorbent and is a bit small, so using it to dry my face after washing was out. I currently use it to wipe my hands while flossing. I hate when my fingers get wet while I floss, but it is unavoidable. For a while there, I was using tissues to dry my hands, but I realized how wasteful that was. I'd rather save my tissues for when I'm sick and need to wipe my nose! This cloth is absorbent enough for when I wipe my hands while flossing.
This cloth is handmade, and I understand that such products are not "factory perfect." Some of the edges of the washcloth are uneven, and there is a hanging string from where the knitting began. These things don't affect the quality of the product. I think it just makes it look more handcrafted which is something I like.
