As a person who hates combing his hair, hair products are of great value to me. The most commonly used hair product in my case is hair gel (spiking my hair is what I usually do when I'm too lazy to comb it)

My favorite hair gel brand is Brylcreem. For those of you who have no idea what Brylcreem is, let me explain. Brylcreem is a major brand that sells men's hair products i.e. gel, cream etc. Their gel range is one of the best in the market.

The one I am particularly interested in writing about is their Xtreme Gel product. The label reads: Ultra Strong Hold. It is a purple colored gel that comes in a squeezable tube. When applied to the hair, it hardens very quickly (in about 5 minutes). Therefore it is suitable for those people who need their hair in order quickly. As for the hold, it does keep the hair spiked as long as you don't apply too much pressure on it to flatten it. However for hair more than 3 inches long, it doesn't work very well, especially if the hair is curly. The good thing about this gel (and other products from Brylcreem) is that when you sweat, the gel doesn't run down your face thus your face won't be excessively oily. Even the hair is not oily (which usually causes discomfort).

In short, it is a good styling gel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who uses hair gel. At a price of $4 for a tube of 150ml, it is a steal.
