I got introduced to the Veg News when I lived in San Francisco. At that point it was more of a newspaper, but it is now a glossy magazine.
I like it because it's information for vegetarians besides just what to eat and recipes. It has articles about how to plan a vegan wedding, profiles of veg celebrities, current events relating to animal rights and the environment and reviews of new vegetarian and vegan products on the market.
One of my favorite sections is the events calendar, which lists veg fairs and other vegetarian related events all over the world. I also like the advice column because it addresses a lot of the life issues vegetarians and vegans face but are rarely addressed in mainstream magazines, such as how to decide whether to raise your children as vegetarians or how to address the diet issue with potential dates.
To top it off, the magazine is printed on recycled paper and printed with soy ink. It's a good resource if you are vegetarian or you're just interested in vegetarian or health issues.
