We used to have a Fisher Price highchair that was huge and hard to deal with. It didn't fold down at all. I have a pretty small kitchen so it was very annoying. It was always in the way. We used this highchair with our first daughter, but when we had a new baby I knew I wanted something better. I saw the Graco Contempo highchair online and it looked great.
I went to Target and bought it for about $100. I love how it come in the box already assembled, that was a nice bonus. But the great thing is how compactly it folds down. It hardly takes up any space in the kitchen! I love it! We open it up for each meal and fold it down again each time. It takes only a few seconds. It also comes with an extra tray which can go in the dishwasher. It reclines and has a 5 point harness. It's nice because you can either just use the harness around their waist or with the shoulder straps.
As far as portability. it rolls around on wheels easily. Sometimes I put the baby in it in the living room when I want to keep her confined for a short time. It's easy to clean, just make sure you get in the little crevice in the back, sometimes crumbs gather there :)
We are very pleased with this highchair and I would definitely recommend it.
