Last year this was my sunblock of choice, it didnt burn my skin, my eyes did sting a bit even though, but went away. The bottle is orange with blue graphics, it says it is sweat proof, water proof and non greasy, and blocks both uva and uvb rays. Think uva - a for aging and uvb - b for burning.
The sweat proof claim is 100% true, i sweat buckets and this didnt travel or disappear all day long in the blazing sun or heat. As for the non greasy claim, it was very greasy on my face, not so much on my body, but it was really heavy and thick on my face, i couldnt wait to get home to get it off. It also takes to long to absorb into the skin before makeup. As heavy as it felt i did not break out in pimples all summer long! My face did stay shiny all day and felt quite gross and slippery. I guess this is just not meant for the face, it was nice on the body though. The scent is very light and undetectable. This did turn my very white skin even whiter which i dont much care for, but oddly it did even out my skin tone without makeup. This does come in a version specifically for the face, so i may try that, hopefully it wont be as heavy and greasy gross!
Standing at the bus stop my face did get a little red, but did not burn, to be fair i was wearing Avon Skin So Soft oil because the misquitos were very bad and that stuff keeps them away without having to use a chemical bug spray, so the oil was probably more than likely what attracted the sun to my face, a little reddness but no burn and no freckles!
Overall a good sunblock, just to gross and heavy for the face for daily wear, maybe better if you are actually being active, i do like this product and love it for the body, good to wear on work days without smelling like a coconut.
In Canada the active ingredients are: 7.50% octinoxate, 4.75% octisalate, 5.25% oxybenzone, 1.20% titanium dioxide, check your country's ingredients, some countries have different regulations for their sunscreen ingredients.
