I wanted a smaller, lightweight backpack to take on our trip to Disney. On the advice and review of a good friend, I bought this black Bagallini Messenger Bag. It measures 13" X 10" X 4" and weighs only 16 ounces. It is a backpack, but it doesn't look or feel like any I have ever used.

This is a messenger style, meaning that it crosses over the chest area and you carry the bag on your back. I have only used a backpack that you carry over both shoulders, so this took some getting used to wearing. I think because the strap that goes across the chest is padded, it's very comfortable. I grew to love this bag! I used it the whole trip and I am still using it!

The bagallini is made from a water resistant nylon material. Good thing because on our last day at Disney, we got caught in a downpour! Everything inside the bag, including a camera, was safe and sound. I was so pleased because any other bag would have let me down and ruined my camera.

There is a hidden pocket located on the strap that goes across your chest. (See the picture above) It zips open to reveal a pocket where you can put your cell phone or maybe some cash or a credit card.

Inside the bag there are zippered compartments too. I carry my pen and reading glasses in there (yes, even Tink needs some help reading things nowadays!). There is also a key fob and an elastic band, which I eneded up putting my diamond tennis bracelet on. My bracelet broke the morning we left for Disney and this made a good storage place for it!

On the outside of the bag there are two more storage places. One is a mesh net pocket and the other is a covered solid pocket that velcros shut. I used the mesh pocket to carry my water bottle or sometimes I used it to carry my compact umbrella. Of course the day we got caught in the rain....my umbrella was packed away already.

I found a large zippered pocket on the back of the bagallini at the end of my trip. I never used that one, but I would have kept my airline tickets inside there if I had seen it sooner.

I really like the way this feels when you wear it, you really forget you have it on, it's so comfortable. It allows you to have both hands free which I loved because my hands could now hold the little hands of my grandchildren!

Whether it's full of snacks at Disney or just for day to day use....you are going to love it as much as I did. I am so happy I saw my friend cafn8me's review!

P.S. ~ I forgot to tell you that I added a light up Tinkerbell pin to my bagallini to personalize it!
