I am not really a fitness freak but I do everything to keep my body in good shape. I started doing work outs only after coming to US. The first exercise I ever did was with weights and I still do hand exercise with weights to continue having good arms. I used to do exercises with solid weights at first when I started. After a few years I bought adjustable weights after reading many good things about them. But I had quite a few disastrous experiences with these 'adjustable' weights.
Then I thought of changing the weights to normal weights. I asked the instructor at gym to get me new weights and he bought me Chrome weights from Cap Barbell. I got a pair each of 10 pound and 12 pound weights.
They are really great pair of weights and they really felt good to use after using the adjustable weights for sometime. I have a pair each of 10 and 12 pound weights. They came in plain steel color and are very simple ones. The dumbbells came in flat model unlike some other models in which they come as round ones. But the flat ones are better while doing exercise. They have rough handles and are specially textured to be rough which help in doing the exercises comfortably. Because of the roughness, it is safe to do exercise as they don't slip accidentally because of sweating.
They are the great pair of weights for doing hand exercises at home. They are very easy to use because of the design and grip.
