The Senseo Coffee Machine is a system which uses pods, premade circular filters with coffee contained in the middle, and pressurized water to make a single cup. The coffee machine has no coffee pot, you place your cup directly under the spout and the outcome is a cup of hot, frothy coffee. The Senseo is easy to use. I found the directions to be easy to follow, but I must admit I forgot to lock the top down, where the pressurized water passes through the pod, the first time and I made a complete mess. But, after a quick cleanup I had it running smoothly.
I gave this an overall rating of 4 because I'm not sure I would say this product is any better than other coffee makers on the market. The pods tend to be expensive. You can purchase different brands of pods, as well as a reusable pod, but none of them are endorsed by Senseo directly. If you're willing to go out on your own, against the company's instructions, and purchase other brands of pods then it may be worth the cost to get frothy coffee.
