While I was waiting on the long checkout line, I rummaged around in the clearance boxes. That's when I saw these. They were very pretty and offered me some variety. The other pair of glasses I have are a completely different shape. I gladly forked over just under a dollar.
These are rimless, with rectangular frames. The lenses are a linear color gradient of browns, from dark brown at the top of the lenses, to a light brown at the base of the lenses. The browns are very warm. The bridge and arms are a silver-tone metal. I like the mix of warm and cool colors. The ends on the arms are tipped with what appears to be tortoiseshell-like plastic.
The design elements don't stop there! The arms are open, with cut-out triangles in the center. Near the hinge area, there is a connector from the arm to the lens, on both sides. This connector is embellished with eleven, small but brilliant rhinestones.
These are lightweight. The ends of the arms don't bother me behind my ears. I think they're pretty great and well worth the price (And more!).
