My oldest son has very sensitive skin. To make matters worse he gets mosquito bites that swell up during the summer. I usually have to spray bug spray on him before he even goes outside- yep sadly he is the smelly kid. I have also had to take him to the doctor many times for medicine. Bugs just love to nibble on him. One day my grandma told me she had found this pine tar soap that would probably help. Being desperate I told her to get me some. This soap is one of the best soaps ever! My son used it in the bathtub and those swollen bites were dramatically smaller. I noticed he even quit getting as many bites. Now because of using this soap he is able to play outside in the summer like a normal child! I have also used the soap on my face and it really clears up breakouts. My sister has even used this soap for her psoriasis and it has really helped. This is really miracle soap! Where has this soap been hiding all this time? On the box it says it has been around since 1878. I am so glad my grandma found this for me. On the back of the box it says, "The soap has been described as helpful in removing the scales of Psoriasis, dandruff, eczema, and other skin irritations". This is a soap that has not given false advertisement. The soap also has no added colors or fragrances. If you are one of the many people who suffer from skin irritations I would recommend getting some of this soap as soon as possible. It does not dry out your skin and even people with the most sensitive skin can use it. The only downside is the pine tar smell it has while you are bathing. Luckily by the time you dry off the smell is already gone.
I found this website where you can buy this soap: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp16649_332828_sespider/grandpas/wonder_pine_tar_soap.htm
It cost $3.99 a bar and worth every penny!
