My brothers and I went together for Christmas and got our parents this camera. Of course being the only girl out of us four siblings I took care of the buying and such. I found this camera and looked up some reviews on it and found that it was a easy camera to learn on. My parents have had a little bit of experience with taking pictures but switching them over to digital wasn't going to be easy. With this camera it was not that bad.
Since we gave them their camera, my camera has actually died. And of course it dies right in the middle of my digital photography class. So I have to borrow the parents camera until I can research and save up some money for a really good camera for me. I think if I wasn't saving up for a DSLR camera, the easy share camera would be my choice.
It take quality pictures and is great for beginners. It doesn't have so many setting that you get confused on which one to use, but it has just enough.
