My hubby’s friend happens to be a doctor and last week he sent us this magazine, Farmacia. He knows that we are having fertility problem and because there is an interesting article in this magazine (February ’09 issue) discussing about infertility. To be honest this is our first time reading this magazine. Actually the magazine is intended for doctors and medical workers, but I think it’s also suitable for general readers. The language used is not so hard to digest, though some medical terms are not explained thoroughly. I think the way they write articles is put simplified, so it can be comprehended by us, common people. It’s not so thick, and one day sitting reading it is enough to get all read. The medical and health issues presented are up-to-date, and I think it’s very important to have this for a medical magazine. They also published letters from their readers, and I was surprised to read all these letters because they were also from non-medical field just like me. Too bad they don’t sell it in retail. To get this magazine we should subscribe it of 3-months minimum. Of course if we subscribe it in 6-months or 1-year period, the subscription fee is much cheaper. We’re still thinking whether to subscribe or not.
