After my 30 gb 5th generation iPod broke, I took it to get fixed. Since they couldn't, they instead gave me a brand new iPod classic. It's the new "regular" iPod. It's as slim as the 30 gb 5th gen with 80 gb. Some of the interface has changed, although nothing drastic. The "cover flow" has been added, which allows you to browse through all of your cover art. Although one thing wrong with this is that half of your cover art might not even show up, or atleast that's what happened to me and other people I have talked to. Nevertheless, it is still a great iPod and a good upgrade from the last one. The new all-metal case its in promotes many less smudges than with the 5th generation iPod. There are also new games that come with this iPod, which are pretty much like the regular ones except they have been redesigned and now a lot less simple as they were originally. This is a great buy for what you get, considering it stores 20, 000 songs or up to 100 hours of video. Even though it is a small screen (at only 2.5"), watching videos isn't as bad as you think. It's very convenient and a huge screen isn't necessarily needed. Overall, this is a great iPod, especially for only $249. I suggest it over other ones for the price and capacity.
