If you've ever bought vegetables or fruit only to have them rot before you could use them you know that's just a waste of money. With the cost of food going up I think everyone is looking for a way to save money. So when I heard there was a way to make vegetables and fruits last longer I was in interested in checking out the product.
Debbie Meyer has invented a bag that she says will make your fruits and vegetables last much longer. I went over to her website and she claims that after fruits and vegetables are taken from the fields they start emitting Ethylene gas which rots the fruits and vegetables. Her bags supposedly absorb this gas and this keeps the vegetables and fruit fresher for longer amount of time.
I decided to try these bags. There is a deal going on over on the website where you buy 20 bags for the price of 10 bags and for this you get 10 medium bags which are 15 1/4 inches by 5 3/4" and you get 10 large bags which are 17 inches by 71/2 inches. They also have a jumbo bag that measures 21 ½” x 9 ½”. They also now offers these bags with a zip lock closure at the top which is an improvement that really needed to be made. They are now making these bags to work with breads, meats and cheese.
I tried these bags and they do seem to help keep produce a little longer and they are reusable up to 10 times.
These are definitely worth the money.
