Needing a credit card for an online purchase, I decided that I would try out one of these reloadable credit cards. I wanted to see what the rave was all about. Needless to say, I was less than amused. Ever since I've gotten it, I've had nothing but trouble. In order to receive my actual card, I have to fax a couple of things to the company. No where on the cardboard card does it say I have to send information to the company to confirm my identity. Then I have to wait for them to send me the card before I can make my purchase. Every store I looked at had the same kind of thing with the cardboard card with the activation number. I was really disappointed with this card. It was nothing special, in my opinion. I regret buying it. Now I'm out $35.
Update On Mar 23, 2008: The fax number suggested was DISCONNECTED! The phone number for tech service was automated, so I never got to speak to a human being. I had to send a letter to them telling them what happened and to activate my card... No response yet!
Update On Mar 30, 2008: Received the card about 1 week later, which made me happy. But 2 days later, they took off $5 for their monthly fee, and it hadn't even been a month yet! I plan on using what is left, and not reloading it again.
